Difference between Kmt Water Jet’s Generation IV and Generation V pumps?
Kmt Water Jet is a professional manufacturer of water jet cutting pumps and cutting heads, which are widely used in water jet cutting machines.KMT’s Generation IV water jet cutting pumps and Generation V water jet cutting pumps are two different models in its product line, and their main differences are as follows:
Pump structure: the four generations of water jet cutting pumps and five generations of Kmt Water Jet water jet cutting pumps have different structures. The Generation IV pump utilizes a cylinder plunger structure, while the Generation V pump utilizes a linear plunger structure. The linear plunger structure can provide higher pressure and flow rate to meet the higher requirements of cutting needs.
Pump power: The power of the fifth generation Kmt Water Jet cutting pump is higher than that of the fourth generation water jet cutting pump. Generation V pumps can reach up to 100 horsepower, while Generation IV pumps can only reach up to 60 horsepower.
Pump pressure and flow rate: The maximum pressure and maximum flow rate of the Generation V Kmt Water Jet cutting pumps are also higher than the Generation IV pumps.
