If I buy a waterjet cutting machine, do I need an extra booster pump?
If the user’s budget is generous, it is recommended that the user can choose our WW60JET intensifier pump, which is a set of double intensifier pumps. Its maximum pressure is 420mpa/60,000psi, and the continuous working pressure is 320-360mpa. Booster pumps are available in two designs:
- Two intensifiers work together, so its flow rate can reach 6.5L/MIN, usually this is suitable for ultra-thick metal cutting, such as 100-200mm, or for industries that require multiple cutting heads, such as food processing, Car interior plus etc.
- The two intensifiers work separately. Its advantage is that when one intensifier is under maintenance, we can switch to the other intensifier for work, so that the production work will not be delayed, thereby improving production efficiency.
If the user’s budget is limited, then we have another suggestion that the user can spare an intensifier component, and replace the entire intensifier when the intensifier needs to be repaired, which will save some maintenance time and gain more production time.
