The peer pure waterjet is used to cut foam materials, more commonly used in automotive interior cutting; abrasive waterjet cutting is commonly used in three-axis and five-axis cutting platforms to cut metal and other materials.
How fast is a water jet?
The running speed of waterjet cutting machine is 10m per minute. If it is working, the cutting speed should be determined according to the material, thickness and cutting pattern of the material. For example:
cutting low carbon steel with a thickness of 2mm, equipped with our waterjet pump of about 380MPA, the cutting speed is about 2.2m per minute;
the machine with the same configuration can cut glass with a thickness of 2.5mm, and the cutting speed can reach about 4.4m per minute;
