What’s the principle of water guided laser?

Water-guided laser is a technology that uses water as a medium to transmit laser light. Its principle is as follows:

1. The laser beam emitted by the laser passes through a focusing lens and is focused into a beam of high energy density.

2. The light beam passes through the water medium, and the water molecules absorb part of the light energy to form a plasma channel.

3. The water molecules in the plasma channel are excited to release more electrons, forming a region with high electron density.

4. The laser beam is conducted in the high electron density area to form a high energy density beam.

5. When the beam is transmitted in water, due to the high refractive index of water, the beam will be refracted and reflected, forming a curved beam path.

6. When the light beam is transmitted to the water surface, part of the light beam will pass through the water surface, forming two different directions of light beams under water and above water.
