The maximum power of the power supply in my area is 25kw, if I change the motor of my waterjet pump to 20kw, is it available? And how will the cutting effect be?
Answer: Yes, you can, change the motor of waterjet pump from 30kw to 20kw, the machine can still be used and cut, but its cutting efficiency will be reduced.
The normal working pressure of the original pump is usually 360mpa, but after replacing it with a 20kw motor:
1. If you use 0.33mm orifice Waterjet Consumables, the cutting pressure of the pump may only reach about 240mpa
2. If you use 0.17mm orifice, the cutting pressure of the pump may reach about 330mpa
At this time, the cutting efficiency of the machine may be more suitable for cutting glass, foam, polyethylene, composite materials and other products.
3. If it is used to cut stone, metal, etc., the cutting time will be relatively longer
4. Therefore, it is recommended to solve the problem of insufficient power supply, such as adding a generator
